Matt Smith will be the Doctor...FOREVER!
Hey, I'm serious! His words. He wants to do Doctor Who forever.
It's no secret that Smith's future was a little...unclear. But in a recent interview, he claimed he thoroughly enjoyed playing the role, and has no plans to leave anytime soon.
Here's his reply to being asked how long he'll play the Doctor: “Forever. 50 years. I’m loving making it.”
He added: “I think we’ve got one of our strongest seasons yet coming up. I really do. We go into the 50th year all guns blazing. And I’ll be around. So…that’s it, really.”

Lara Pulver responds to female Doctor rumours
Well, April 2 2012, a rumour started claiming that the next Doctor would infact be female, with Sherlock’s Lara Pulver in the lead role.
She recently responded in an interview, saying:
“Steven [Moffat] and I have both said we thoroughly enjoyed working together, and then there was me being in Wales so the media put two and two together.”
When asked if she'd take the role, she said:
“Yes and no. Not if it meant the end of the Doctor Who franchise because the fans aren’t keen on it.”
Scary new monster for series 7?
Ignore the Dalek, I just love 'em, so I included one.
Basically, Moffat's teased a whole new scary monster which will appear next year.
He wrote on Twitter:
“See this new monster I’ve invented? This is a GOOD one. This will SCARE you. Oh yes.”
So, we get the weeping Angels, AND a new scary monster? Awesome!

The Ice Warriors will be among the first creatures encountered by the Time Lord’s new companion, played by Jenna, 26, following her arrival in the Christmas Day special. And the episode will be penned by Sherlock star Mark Gatiss, 45. A source said: “Who fans have been crying out for the return of the Ice Warriors. Now they’ve got their wish. “It’s going to be an exciting year with the 50th anniversary celebrations.”

Edwards and Graves on Doctor Who
Well, this isn't exactly a spoiler, it's just some casting information. First off, Sherlock's Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves) will be playing a character called Riddell in episode 2. You can see him and Amy in action below.
Graves said:
“He’s a big game hunter … he’s in Africa, and there’s umm, some kind of history behind him and the Doctor, although it’s never fully explained what … he’s there to help the Doctor.”
Interesting.
Next, is regular Dalek actor Barnaby Edwards. Outside of the giant pepper pot this time, he was pictured in the flesh, playing a hooded character.
The scene involved the Doctor speaking to him inside a little Cardiff cafe. Strange.
Anyway, that's all for now.

Jenna-Louise Coleman spotted on set. Name revealed!
According to a set reporter, the new companion is called Clara. No surname, but that was what she was addressed as in one of the scenes.
Hmm, sounds old fashioned.
Anyway, here's some pictures of her on set. Nice coat! Disguise? Or has he had a wardrobe change?
This next one tells us a fair bit about the episode's setting. Note: This is NOT the Christmas episode. This is from next year, written by Luther creator Neil Cross.

Hello time travellers!
Let's start simple.
This is a spoiler-free Doctor Who news page. Basically, the faster I find news, the faster I post it, the faster you read it.
It's a loving relationship.
Now, don't give me any of that, we've known each other for ages, you just don't know it yet (wibbly wobbly timey wimey).
What's that? Well, what an excellent start to our relationship.
Ok, now for the boring bit.
Rules.
Rule one, the Doctor lies.
No, wait, wrong rules.
Rule one, no swearing, well, not much of it anyway.
Rule two, no spoilers. Please, for my sake.
Rule three, no mentions of Emmerdale, X factor, Loose Women, Waterloo Road, Downton Abby or Adele.
Right, I think that's it. Allons-y!
